The construction of the Ibanez SRMS805 bass starts with a solid okoume body with the liquid look of a deluxe poplar burl top, and ends with a bolt-on five-piece jatoba and walnut neck finished with a panga panga fretboard. You might not be familiar with panga panga, and it's certainly not common, but here it's been used for it's tonal warmth and stunning wood structure, backing up a set of twenty-four fanned medium frets and inlaid position markers.
